I’ve had a chance to test the new Motorola One Fusion, a mid-range smartphone that is quite complete in terms of features and that tempts you quite a bit with its 5,000 mAh battery.
It has a IPS LCD-type screen that reaches 6.5 inches with HD + resolution and 20: 9 aspect. Inside it is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of expandable internal memory.
In the photographic section we find a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle, a 5 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor, all accompanied by an LED flash. Its front camera is 8 MP.
For now is all I’m going to tell you about Motorola One Fusion, so stay watching this complete review to get to know this new smartphone more thoroughly.
Let’s go with the review!
CAMERAS
We start with the section where our Motorola One Fusion shines the most, since for that it offers us as the main camera up to four sensors that are accompanied by a solitary LED flash.
The technical detail of its main camera is:
- 48-megapixel main camera with f / 1.7 aperture, PDAF
- 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera with f / 2.2 aperture and 118º angle
- 5 megapixel macro camera with f / 2.2 aperture
- 2 megapixel depth sensor with f / 2.2 aperture
Its front camera reaches 8 megapixels with f / 2.0 aperture so you can make video calls and capture your selfies.
Camera app
The app that will allow us to control the camera has as direct access the three main capture modes: Photo, and Video, followed by an option that will show us the rest of the modes such as Macro, Portrait and Night Vision.
We also have direct access to change between the “Ultra wide angle – 0.5x”, or “Standard – 1x” mode. Further to the left of the screen we have access to the settings, timer, flash, HDR, etc. There we can also activate the manual mode to control the focus, white balance, ISO, among others. It even allows us to capture images in JPG, RAW (DNG), and RAW (DNG) + JPG formats.
I’m going to leave you with a demo video so you can see what the interface of the camera app is like in action:
The quality of the photographs seemed quite good to me, as long as there are good lighting conditions. Otherwise, we will start to see some noise, especially if the photos are already at night, but that is solved by choosing the Night Vision mode that greatly improves the photos at night.
I will leave you with a gallery of images that were captured with the Motorola One Fusion in different conditions. In the night photos you will see the same image twice, the first one was captured normally, while the second one was captured using Night Vision.
Finally I tell you that our protagonist has the ability to record videos in 4K quality with up to 30 frames per second. Unfortunately, the equipment does not have any type of image stabilization. However, the image quality is pretty good to me.
SCREEN
The screen of our Motorola One Fusion is of the IPS LCD type that reaches the size of 6.5 inches. Its resolution remains in HD +, so we will have 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20: 9 aspect.
Among the available settings we will have the possibility to adjust the brightness, modify the wallpaper, modify the interactive screen, activate the dark mode, modify the color saturation (Natural, Enhanced, or Saturated), modify the screen size and source, among other options.
–
The interactive screen will allow us to view notifications when the screen is off. In this way, when we are not using the mobile and a notification arrives, the icon of the app that has sent a notification will appear, in addition to showing you the current time and you can choose if you want the screen to light up when you take the equipment or when notification arrives. A pretty useful function.
The image quality of the screen I found quite good, as one is already used to IPS LCD screens, since they usually find high brightness and vivid colors.
Despite not having a screen with Full HD resolution, the definition with the naked eye is quite good and at least in my experience I had no problem reading small letters or problems distinguishing things.
SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, MULTIMEDIA AND DESIGN
Here we are going to make a small change in the review, since – at your request – I am going to show you everything related to the system, functions, how is its performance, and its video design, so that I can try to solve your you doubt in greater detail.
I leave you the video:

CONCLUSION
The Motorola One Fusion I was using it for about two weeks as if it were my personal equipment, and the truth is that it did not bore me at any time because it offers you everything you need, or at least it was for me.
We have a very nice design that is comfortable to have in hand, its screen looks good, the cameras worked quite well for me, its performance is not the fastest of all, but for the use I gave it was enough, leaving me very satisfied.

But what I liked the most was the issue of not having to worry about the battery, I could be using the equipment all day, but at the same time I was calm because I knew that its autonomy would be excellent with its 5,000 mAh, and the tests of the battery proves it.
The only thing I missed was the absence of his NFC chip, which forced me to have to use my physical card again when I wanted to make a payment when I went to the supermarket. I know that for some this could be something stupid, but for me it is useful and in the next years when mobile payments will become widespread, it will be necessary to have NFC.

Anyway, I recommend this equipment anyway, I found it very complete in terms of functions, it is ideal for social networks, multimedia and camera, especially because the battery manages a lot with its 5,000 mAh that can easily give you up to two days of use .
Availability
Its price in our country is CLP $ 199,990, Movistar and WOM They have already confirmed that they will add it to their equipment catalog, and we can also find it in large stores and some other national retail outlets.
