Herbert Reul (CDU) was infected with Corona in February, as did 16 other people from the Ministry of the Interior. In the aftermath, promotion ceremonies became public, at which many people were present. The ministry’s corona hygiene concept and the behavior of the minister were criticized.
Four people not yet on duty
Reul recovered more than three months later, but the consequences of the infections are still noticeable. This emerges from a small request from the SPD, which is also available to the WDR. According to the Interior Ministry, four of the infected are still not back on duty.
