Return to competition for young Tarn table tennis players

Last Saturday, the young Tarn table tennis players made their return to competition with the Tan Championships in Labruguières. For the occasion, unfortunately no doubles and therefore nine titles to distribute: from youngest to junior for boys and from youngest to youngest for girls.

No less than six clubs were present: the premises of Labruguières, then the TT Pays Gaillacois, the ASPTT Albi, the Ping Saint – Paulais, the Castres TT and the SC Graulhet. And in this game it is the Ping Saint – Paulais who managed to pull out of the game with a total of 5 gold medals, just behind the TT Pays Gaillacois gleaned 3 gold medals with a nice raid on the boys minimal, cadet and junior tables and it is the ASPTT Albi which wins the last one with the title in chick for the young Abel Darnaut.

Some notable performances should be highlighted: the double of Lalie Sandral who won the title in minimes and in cadets with two highly contested finals, the title of Timéo Marco Maurange in minimal doubled of the silver medal in cadet, the title of Louis Delpech in cadet who also gleans a bronze medal in junior and the surprise Nathan Lelaidier who grants himself two bronze medals in minimal and in cadet with good performances in the two tables where he was not favorite on the starting line.

A great day for the young Tarn table tennis players who were able to return to competition at these Tarn championships. We have also noticed that the work pays off: our three young Tarnais (Timéo Maurange, Lalie Sandral and Gauthier Aguilar) from the hope pole in Auch have gleaned medals by achieving good performances in their respective tables.

Now it’s time for the seniors, just back in training since June 9, who will go to Castres to compete for the coveted title of Tarn champion on Saturday, June 26.
