The collapse of a retaining wall Monday afternoon in Sunset Park left one worker dead and another injured.

The NYPD tells Noticias Univision 41 that it was a retaining wall that fell in the courtyard of a building at 454 42nd Street between 4th and 5th avenues.

According to firefighters, one worker died in the accident and the other was trapped. After he was rescued, he was transferred to NYU Langone Hospital.

A third worker was saved, because at the time of the collapse he was on his lunch break.
