JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Recently on Twitter social media, many fake accounts have fired the names of a number of banks to commit crimes.
Such actions are prone to become a mode of fraud because they take the name of a particular bank.
Two banks whose names are often abused are BCA and BNI.
Executive Vice President of the Secretariat & Corporate Communication of BCA, Hera F Haryn, through a written statement, said that in connection with the fake HaloBCA account information in circulation, the official number of HaloBCA is 1500888.
“The official number for HaloBCA is 1500888, without any additional prefixes on the front of the number,” said Hera. Kompas.com, Sunday (14/3/2021).

If there is another number on behalf of BCA, it is fake. He said that BCA also never asked for confidential personal data for any reason.
