“Justice for everyone ”apologized for elevating the judge
Nearly 50% of Democratic Bulgaria voters refused to vote for Lozan Panov, although the coalition backed him as president. The judge managed to collect nearly 97 thousand votes (with 99.51% of protocols processed).
And the coalition itself won the modest 164,707 votes in the parliamentary elections and therefore the co-chairs of the DB

The quakes on the right began days before the election after two episodes of “fattened spiders” crawling on Facebook. Last Wednesday, Panov attacked the DB for preparing to betray his constituents and ally with the BSP. In “Episode 2” the next day, new accusations followed and the judge confirmed his distrust of the city’s right-wing supporters. And they, in addition to violent comments, obviously preferred to react with ballots for another candidate.
On Monday, the storm in the city’s right broke out again on Facebook.
Panov was the first to differentiate himself from “Justice for Everyone” – the organization that nominated him for president. Its chairman, lawyer Pepi Kanchev, apologized for the candidacy of the chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation. And he said that their paths parted at the start of the campaign.
The turning point came after one of Panov’s first television interviews, in which he called Rumen Radev a “fake hero.” Then “Justice for Everyone” asked to clarify the messages that Panov gives. They suggested using geopolitical experts on the topic of Northern Macedonia, defense and security, so that the magistrate would be prepared for media appearances.
“His answer was that he would determine his own messages,
he will choose who will consult him, he will determine his program in the campaign and the visits around the country, he will determine which member of the initiative committee in which media he will speak in obligatory synchrony with his messages “, explained Kanchev.
Ivet Dobromirova, who was his PR for the vote, came out in defense of Panov with Facebook status yesterday. She explained that she had tried to dissuade him from entering the race on September 29 because

“There is no way to overcome GERB’s 600,000 votes. Nor is there a way to overcome 58% approval for Radev. Finally, but most of all, there is no way to overcome 60% of the DB, which would support Radev in the first round. Remember, this statement was made by the gene itself. “I owe it to the free and democratic people, whom the leaders of the DB will leave without an alternative. I also owe it to them because for some reason unknown to me, the DB left the anti-mafia front in Radev’s hands completely voluntarily, and this is not okay at all, ”Panov replied.
More “revelations” of the publicist followed. According to her, the DB declared itself in opposition to Lozan Panov immediately after his first interview with the “fake hero” Radev. Then 90% of his initiative committee headed by everyone from “Justice for Everyone” stood against him, she wrote. Panov, on the other hand, entered the campaign with 29% approval from the members of the DB. “The sociologists who gave us these data were themselves deeply surprised and said that they could only be the result of a purposeful campaign against him inside the DB itself,” Dobromirova said. Panov met with support only from members of the DSB and partly from the Green Movement.
“It is an indisputable fact that a campaign for a month is not done for anything. A campaign with about BGN 50,000 is also not being done. And a campaign without media is not done. All “free and democratic” media worked against Lozan Panov. They were simply part of the real campaign – that of Radev, which was combined with the campaign of “We continue the change”, Dobromirova continued her defense.
The autumn storm on the right continued. At 1 p.m., the leader of “Yes, Bulgaria” Hristo Ivanov was the first to resign. And he chose Facebook to announce his decision. However, there was no word about Lozan Panov in his video address. And the withdrawal was because Ivanov was directly responsible for the low result of the DB. The coalition received just under 6%, ranking only sixth in the 47th parliament.
The entire Executive Council of the party, which includes some of the most significant names of the DB, resigned. These are the deputies from the 45th and 46th National Assembly Ivaylo Mirchev, Antoaneta Tsoneva, Nadezhda Yordanova, Stefan Tafrov, Atanas Slavov. A national conference of “Yes, Bulgaria” is to be scheduled today to elect a new leadership. Hristo Ivanov will propose to the National Council to give support for future governance with a mandate of “We continue the change”, he explained.
A few hours later, Atanas Atanasov resigned as chairman of the Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria. There was no word about Panov with him either, and the reason is the poor result. “I take my personal responsibility,” he wrote on Facebook. The rain of resignations continued with Borislav Sandov and Vladislav Panev, who withdrew from the leadership of the third coalition partner Green Movement.

In August 2019, he left the judiciary to become part of “Yes, Bulgaria”, but in early September 2021 he resigned as head of municipal councilors from the DB.

Because the arrangement of the lists for deputies, undemocratic and without any criteria and logic, as well as the conducted campaign, guarantees their presence in the parliament, but deprived a number of meaningful people of their presence there “, he added.
