Residents of Russian Belgorod reported a loud explosion (video)

Russian media and telegram channels reported that residents of Belgorod heard a “loud bang” and witnessed a bright flash. Related videos published Baza project.

Bel.ru journalists clarifiedthat cotton was heard next to Weselska Street, the townspeople also saw a cloud of smoke. Judging by the released footage, the incident occurred around 19:30 Moscow time (18:30 Kyiv time).

The reasons for this phenomenon are unknown. As journalists were told in the mayor’s office of the city, nothing threatens the safety of the inhabitants of Belgorod.

Local authorities also added that emergency services are working at the scene.

Recall, on March 3, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that Russia may be preparing a provocationwithin which it can fire on its territory and blame the Ukrainian side for the incident.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian and Russian delegations preparing for a third round of negotiations about the full-scale war that began on February 24. During a previous meeting representatives of Ukraine demanded provide a humanitarian corridor for the residents of the affected settlements, stop hostilities and announce a truce.
