The incident must have taken place in the business housing, activity and environmental service, the municipality states in a press release on Wednesday night.
– The condition of the resident is serious, but stable and is now taken care of by the specialist health service. It is too early to conclude on the cause of the injuries, the municipality writes.
– I can not go into what has happened. I can not comment on any details in the case, says Frøya mayor Kristin Furunes Strømskag to Adresseavisen.
She does not want to say anything if more people are involved in the incident.
The report states that the municipality has set emergency management as a result of the incident, and that both the Norwegian Board of Health and the State Administrator are involved.
