Resident Evil 3: No Mercenary mode on the horizon – News

After having delighted players with a popular Resident Evil 2 Remake, Capcom is now working to offer the same treatment to Resident Evil 3. This aspect, quite different from its predecessors, will also be reviewed and corrected with a certain degree of freedom by the developers.

It was in the latest issue of British Official PlayStation Magazine that the Japanese studio’s thinking heads confided some new information. Among the novelties reported by a surfer by the name of Mates20970 on Reddit, we are told that part of the game will play Carlos Oliveira in a much more advanced way. It will not be the only one in this case since phases dedicated to other normally more discreet characters will appear. We are also told about a largely improved artificial intelligence for the Nemesis, as well as a very significant spatialization of sound. Finally, the Mercenaries mode and its famous countdown will not be there this time.
