Miaoli County firefighters found her at 1:30 pm on the 17th and found her at a vertical distance of about 150 meters below the trail ridge. There were no signs of life. Rescuers were trying to move the body to the ridge and then try to carry it down the mountain.
Miaoli County Government Firefighters recalled that Xianshan is one of Taiwan’s most famous Xiaobai Mountains. The point of the triangle is 967 meters above sea level and is broken rocky terrain. Some slopes are steep and there are some paths too. Mountaineers need to use rope climbing and some terrain traversal skills. Disasters have recently occurred in the mountains on 25 and 29 September.
