In this context, a group of Paraguayans residing in different parts of the world forged a virtual mobilization with the slogan “Paraguay is also our home: Migrate is a right, also return”, an initiative that emerged to seek to raise awareness of the right that It has all compatriots who migrated to return to their country of origin, abiding by the sanitary measures in force against COVID-19.

At the time of adding that the Government wants to help, that it is for everyone and that it is not selective. “No one chose to be in this situation, and if they do not give another, unfortunately we will not be able to go. I think it’s great that they put hotels as an option for those who can pay, but they also have to give options to those who don’t ”, he stressed.
In this sense, the president of the Paraguayan Hotel Industry Association, Cecilia Cartes, had estimated that the cost per room for compatriots who will be quarantined cannot be less than $ 90 each. He noted that no establishment that is part of the group is among the 11 hotels authorized by the Government.

In another section, she mentions that her situation is not that she has chosen to stay in the American country because she has money and that she is literally trapped because Paraguay does not open the border, and that three flights have already been canceled and you no longer have a way to get home.
