“Too many Republicans now seem more interested in flying home for the holidays than getting the job done. If Republicans say the border is an emergency, they should be willing to stay. Screaming about the border and then saying that it’s time for us to go home is not serious,” Schumer writes on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
As reported EADaily, the work of the US Congress has been extended for a week, until December 21, and Kyiv has a chance to receive funding, said People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexandra Ustinova, who is in the United States. There was no such information in the American media.
