Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The value of Indonesia’s exports recorded a new record. No kidding, even being the highest in the history of independent Indonesia.
On Wednesday (12/15/2021), Head of BPS Margo Yuwono reported that Indonesia’s export value last month was US$ 22.84 billion. Up 3.69% compared to October 2021 (month-to-month/mtm) and 49.7% from November 2020 (year-on-year/yoy).
“The price of Indonesian crude oil or ICP on the world market fell 2.04% mtm, yoy still increasing 97.02%. Some non-oil and gas commodities have increased such as kernel oil, palm oil, nickel, tin and gold,” Margo said in a virtual press conference.
The export value of US$ 22.84 billion is an all-time high. The previous record was set in October 2021, which was US$ 22.03 billion.
