Repeat Offender Arrested with 150 Bags of Narcotics in Staten Island, NYC

Tyshawn Williams was caught with more than 150 bags and envelopes of narcotics after selling drugs to an undercover officer in Tompkinsville, Staten Island (NYC).

The 31-year-old suspect, a resident of Mariners Harbor Houses, had a previous conviction related to a major drug bust in 2016 also in Staten Island.

The new criminal complaint alleges Williams traded a powerful form of ecstasy (3.4 methylenedioxymethamphetamine, MDMA) and the sedative alprazolam for cash with an undercover officer last month, according to an investigation by Narcotics Borough Staten Island, reported SILive.com.

All charges are mere accusations and those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

In 2016 Williams pleaded guilty to drug charges and was sentenced to six years in prison and 18 months of supervision thereafter. At the time he was an alleged member of “Original Stacks”, a team affiliated with the street gang “Bloods”.

Eight people arrested and weapons and drugs seized valued at more than $1 million dollars was the result of the dismantling in June of a hispanic band operating out of “Rufus King Park,” the Jamaica neighborhood, announced the District Attorney of Queens (NYC), Melinda Katz.
