Minus hurts, SPÖ Carinthia is clearly the party with the most votes
Vienna (OTS/SK) – SPÖ federal party leader Dr.in Pamela Rendi-Wagner and SPÖ federal manager Christian Deutsch thank Peter Kaiser and his team for their great commitment and the dedicated election movement. “Peter Kaiser and his team focused heavily on content and did not pursue a policy of division and hate speech. In Carinthia, the SPÖ presented 275 measures, ideas and suggestions for a successful Carinthia and gave prospects for a good future,” Rendi-Wagner and Deutsch told the SPÖ press service today, Sunday. ****
“The minus in this Carinthian election hurts, but the SPÖ is clearly the party with the most votes by a large margin. It is the voters’ job that Peter Kaiser remains governor,” said Rendi-Wagner. These are very challenging times for state governments, as the state elections in Tyrol and Lower Austria showed with large losses for the ÖVP, says the SPÖ federal manager. “The SPÖ Kärnten started from a very high starting point and, after the record result in 2018, has today achieved the second best result in Carinthia in the last 30 years.
