Electronic ticket (e-TLE) The maximum speed limit on the Jadetabek toll road section is effective from April 1, 2022. Electronic ticket applies to all private vehicles, including car sport.
The maximum speed limit for vehicles on the specified toll road is 100 km/hour. The police ensure that the rules also apply to cars sport.
“The speed limit violation applies to all types of vehicles. Because the maximum speed limit on the toll road is 100 km/hour,” said Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Jamal Alam when contacted, Wednesday (30/3/2022).
Jamal said that his party would not be selective in implementing the regulation. He made sure that the rules would apply to vehicles sport who used to drive at high speed on the highway.
“It still happens,” he said.
Supervised 24 Hours
Supervision of the maximum speed limit on toll roads will monitored e-TLE for 24 hours. Violators will be recorded by e-TLE cameras that have been installed at a number of toll road points.
“Because there is no time limit on the toll road, it is valid for 24 hours. If there is a speed limit violation, the camera will take action capture,” said Director of Traffic and Traffic of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Tuesday (29/3).
Violation of the maximum speed limit is regulated in Article 287 paragraph 5 of the Road Traffic and Transportation Law (LLAJ). Meanwhile, Article 307 of the Road Traffic and Transportation Law regulates the load limit on vehicles.
“The sanction is the threat of imprisonment for two months or a fine of Rp. 500 thousand,” said Sambodo.
