Remaster of ROME: Total War will be released on April 29 – Gaming – News

ME2 still looks fine in my opinion! Start it again sometimes (and then it is immediately attached to it again for 2 weeks :X:+ ) and RTW2 has never been able to fascinate me, mainly because of the chaotic fighting.
Masses against masses; you can no longer see the wood for the trees.
Impressive? Yes. Fun to play? No.
I remember getting the game in the trailer release announcement and reviews from CA, on YouTube, I think, which was a big wow!
But the game was completely different and full of bugs.
Not that that was new to TW games, but it was just an anti-climax.

The maps in newer games in the series don’t really interest me either.
They are not recognizable enough for me.
That was very good, especially up to and including ME2.
Recognizable, you knew exactly where you were and you wanted to go.
But of course that could be my little brain. :+

I can certainly get excited about a remaster of the first RTW.
I also had no idea this was in the pipeline, frankly.
The first RTW was a great game in my opinion, and it still is, but the graphics are really dated, which also takes the fun off it a bit.

I’ve never played it on pads / tabs / phones, but I can well imagine that that’s not your thing.
