Originally scheduled for March, Watch Dogs: Legion will finally arrive on October 29, 2020. This was announced by Ubisoft during the Ubisoft Forward on July 13. The publisher also took advantage of the event to share a brand new trailer with a sequence of gameplay. Another evening announcement, the title, which will be available on Xbox Series X and Xbox One, will support Smart Delivery.
New mechanics
In Watch Dogs: Legion, you can recruit and embody any Londoner citizen. Each character you play will benefit from its history, its personality and of course, its skills. This will offer you a very heterogeneous team and therefore very diverse means of carrying out your missions.
During these, you will also have the opportunity to experience a whole new combat system. Indeed, the way in which you start your confrontations will have a real impact on them. Approach your unarmed opponents, with the sole intention of neutralizing them, and your opponents will not seek to kill you. Conversely, fire and you will find yourself facing potential murderers facing you. It will therefore be necessary to gauge the situations and make wise choices since, in Watch Dogs Legion, your characters may die definitively!
Watch Dogs Legion : Ray Tracing sur Xbox Series X
In the good news department, Watch Dogs: Legion will also allow you to access cooperative missions. These will take place exclusively online and allow you to join 3 friends!
Finally, Phil Spencer also appeared at the conference to announce that Watch Dogs: Legion will benefit from the Smart Delivery. Thus, you can buy the game on Xbox One and play it in its Xbox Series X version once the console is released, at no additional cost. By the way, the game is announced as optimized for Xbox Series X and will display in Ray Tracing.
As a reminder, Watch Dogs Legion will be released on October 29. The title will be available in four different editions, with more or less rich content. You will be able to treat yourself to Watch Dogs: Legion by:
- Standard which includes only the game
- Gold, which contains the game as well as an early access of three days and the season pass
- Ultimate, which includes game, season pass, additional skins and, of course, three-day early access
- Collector, with the game, the season pass, the additional skins, a Steelbook, a double poster, stickers and a replica of the DedSec Crown Mask
