JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Chief Expert of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), Ali Mochtar Ngabalin, responded to President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) statement regarding national culinary delights including Bipang Ambawang.
Ngabalin conveyed that the archipelago culinary promotion was an event from the Ministry of Trade.

In addition, Jokowi’s invitation to buy regional specialties is aimed at all people who miss their hometown.
“This event is an event held by the Ministry of Trade in order to promote, we love our archipelago products,” he said in the Sapa Indonesia Malam program, quoted from YouTube Kompas TV, Saturday (8/5/2021).
“So indeed when talking about Eid, people identify with returning to their hometown Muslims,” he continued.
According to him, the government is indeed promoting love for local products. So, Ngabalin hopes that Jokowi’s statement will be treated calmly.
