Shrimp
Although it is a low-fat food, shrimp is high in cholesterol. A 4-ounce serving of shrimp has 170 milligrams of cholesterol. That’s more than half of the recommended daily intake.

Offal like liver are known to be rich in vitamins and nutrients. Although good for health, offal is not a great choice for people trying to reduce cholesterol. A 3-ounce serving of beef liver, for example, contains 333 milligrams of cholesterol.

Fast food tends to be high in fat and almost always includes some type of animal product, which can worsen cholesterol levels. Studies have shown frequent eating of fast food leads to increased bad cholesterol and can even lower good cholesterol.
