The images of the blaze are impressive. At around 7 p.m. this Wednesday, October 14, a fire broke out, for a still unknown reason, in a house at 37, rue de la Gicquelaie, in Redon. In the same building, a farmhouse, there are three dwellings. The fire caught in the middle one, occupied by a mother and her three children. The flames quickly spread to the entire roof, destroying the home.

Luckily, the occupants were quickly able to get outside to call the emergency services. Redon firefighters were the first to intervene with a fire hose. “They were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the other adjoining houses”, notes Lieutenant Franck Enizan, the commander of relief operations.
