In addition to the Redmi 10X and 10X Pro smartphones, as well as the updated RedmiBook laptops, the Redmi brand owned by the Chinese company Xiaomi today introduced new Redmi Smart TV X televisions. The novelties are designed for a youth audience.
The new Redmi Smart TV X received a design from the older brothers of Xiaomi Mi TV. The case is made in black. Televisions have two paired legs that allow you to install them on hard surfaces. It is also possible to mount on the wall. A distinctive feature of the new products has become a fully frameless front panel. The display occupies 97% of the front panel area. Three models will be on sale – at 50, 55 and 65 inches.

Redmi Smart TV X runs on an unnamed quad-core processor. The chip is divided into two clusters, the first is a productive one consisting of two Cortex-A73 cores, and the second is an energy-efficient one of two Cortex-A53 cores. RAM installed 2 GB, permanent – 32 GB. All models received 4K resolution displays. Screens cover 85% of the NTSC color space. The frame refresh rate was 60 Hz.
Four speakers of 12.5 W each are responsible for the sound, which provides a total acoustic power of 50 watts. There is also a built-in subwoofer. TVs support voice control.
Redmi Smart TV X will go on sale in China for as low as $ 280.
The main competitors of the new products will be the recently announced Honor TVs, which are also designed for a youth audience and offer a good ratio of technical characteristics and low prices.
