'Red Sandra' moves well-known Flanders | showbiz

showbizOn Thursday evening, ‘Red Sandra’ premiered in Kinepolis Antwerp. This film, by Jan Verheyen and his wife Lien Willaert, tells the true story of the Massart family, which attracted a lot of attention ten years ago. William and Olga (Sven De Ridder and Darya Gantura) are unexpectedly diagnosed that their six-year-old daughter Sandra suffers from MLD, a rare muscle disease. She has about a year to live. William refuses to give up hope and embarks on a crusade against the pharmaceutical industry. And that story got serious to the BVs present. Afterwards, not only did tears roll down their cheeks, but there was also a lot of anger. “This is the worst nightmare that can happen to you as a parent,” said those present.
