Red Cross gives first aid courses again

Since the middle of March no first aid courses have been allowed, from June they are allowed again. But there are numerous rules that should prevent participants from being infected with the Corona virus, according to a press release. “Unfortunately, this means that fewer people can take part in each course,” says Stefan Dietz, deputy district manager of the BRK. Each participant should bring two or three own mouth-nose covers if possible. The Red Cross provides gloves and disinfectants. Since it is no longer allowed for the participants to put on associations, first aid instructor Oliver Lückhof came up with a creative solution: “You can practice the pressure bandage on a piece of drain pipe from the hardware store as well as on an arm . We were even able to paint the wound here with a little red paint. ”From June 2, the BRK in Würzburg will be holding first aid courses again.
