The Red Cross will carry out blood donation campaigns in Leganés during the month of September, as reported by this organization.

The Red Cross mobile unit will be in different places during the month from 5:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Thus, on Tuesday the 5th it will be at Avenida Doctor Martín Vegué, 7. Meanwhile, on the 9th and 10th it will be at the Sambil shopping center and its hours will last until 9 pm.

In the following weeks it will be located at number 8 Petra Kelly street on the 11th, on Rey Juan Carlos I avenue on Thursday the 15th and at Paseo Estación on Tuesday the 19th.

The entity recalled that the night before the donation you should sleep well. In addition, before donating you should have eaten a low-fat meal, you should never go fasting, and avoid smoking for at least an hour before donating.

On the other hand, if you tend to have low iron levels, you can eat foods rich in this nutrient, such as red meat, liver, fish, eggs, legumes and nuts.
