The National Meteorological Administration issued, on Saturday, a warning nowcasting Red code of torrential downpours for the mountainous area of Gorj county, valid in the next hour.
According to ANM, in the time interval 14:45 – 15:45, in the warned county, in the mountain area, at over 1,800 meters, torrential showers will be reported that will exceed 40-50 l / sqm, frequent electric discharges, storms and hail.
Warnings of immediate dangerous phenomena (nowcasting) are issued for a maximum period of six hours, the NMA states.

Meteorologists issued on Saturday a Red Code warning of showers and storms for Vâlcea County.
According to ANM, the localities of Perișani, Căineni, Boișoara, Racovița, Titești, but also the mountain area in Vâlcea County are targeted.
In these areas there will be torrential showers that will exceed 40-50 l / sqm, frequent electric discharges, storms and hail.
