Steven Gerrard recorded a sweet debut as a manager at Premier League. Gerrard is not satisfied, want to take it Aston Villa fiercer!
Aston Villa host Brighton on Saturday (20/11) evening WIB. This is Steven Gerrard’s debut as manager at Premier League, who had previously started his career as Rangers manager in the Scottish League.
Villa can secure the three points with a 2-0 win. Two goals for the hosts, scored by Ollie Watkins and Tyrone Mings.
These results make Aston Villa move up to 15th place in the Premier League standings with 13 points from 12 matches, four points ahead of Burnley in 18th position, aka the end of the relegation zone.

Steven Gerrard able to carve a victory in his debut in the Premier League as a manager. Gerrard said he was satisfied, but at the same time he must have been nervous because his face looked so tense and nervous when he entered the field just before the match started.
“I am very happy with today’s result. The players are doing well,” he told Sky Sports.
“The players did their job, we kept clean sheets and scored two goals.”

Villa also have to continue to fight away from the relegation zone. So Gerrard, want his players ready to fight it out again!
“This is a good start, but we also have to win in the next matches. We can win if we are able to keep the goal well (not conceding-red),” he said to BBC.
“We cannot be complacent,” he concluded.
