TRIBUNNEWS.COM – A recent research reveals the use of glasses can minimize the risk of transmission consequences corona virus.

The connection between corona virus and the eyes had appeared, there was even a statement about the importance of wearing glasses while on the move in the midst of this pandemic.

Even so, this recommendation is blurred because it is not supported by valid research.

Launching from the Daily Mail, the research was conducted by experts from China who said that the virus could infect from the eye.

The team from The Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University said they believe this is because the ACE-2 receptor, which the virus attaches to to enter and infect human cells, can be found in the eye.

The findings also provide more evidence for why healthcare workers should wear eye protection and why more attention needs to be focused on preventive measures such as frequent hand washing and avoiding touching their faces.
