Real Madrid to lend Reinier Jesus

Real Madrid have decided to lend their Brazilian attacking midfielder Reinier Jesus to the Spanish first division next season.

Real Madrid supporters will have to wait a little longer to find Reinier Jesus. The promising Brazilian attacking midfielder will indeed be loaned next season according to Marca. The Madrid daily reveals that the decision was made when the 18-year-old Brazilian signed at Real last February, in agreement with the player and his entourage.

The Real Madrid first team has indeed already reached their quota of extra-community players and the club wants anyway that the former hope of Flamengo play as high as possible next season. The idea would therefore be to lend it a season to a Spanish first division club so that it becomes accustomed to Spanish football and returns more seasoned in a year.

A strategy already used by Real Madrid last summer with its young Japanese attacking midfielder Takefusa Kubo, loaned to Mallorca. Recrier him last winter against 30 million euros, Reinier Jesus had played three matches with the Madrid reserve (which evolves in D3) before the coronavirus crisis and had shown to his advantage, notably registering a double against Coruxo (see below).
