Pau Torres gave Real the lead with an own goal (16′) before Samuel Chukwueze equalized (39′). Vinícius Júnior restored Los Blancos’ lead after the break (48′) but José Luis Morales (70′) and again Chukwueze (80′) struck for the visitors to seal Villarreal’s away win.
