Actor Aart Staartjes died Sunday, January 12 from the injuries he sustained in a traffic accident. Family and colleagues from the media reacted sadly to the death of Staartjes.
In the 1970s, Staartjes was the inventor and compiler of taboo-breaking children’s programs such as The Stratemaker sea show,The film of Uncle Willem and J.J. The Bom Formerly the Child’s Friend, in which he also acted. He played roles The core and was for many years the presenter of the national entry of Sinterklaas.
