According to information from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Ravens plan to trade their most injured veteran quarterback Joe Flacco after the season. They should want to end the time of their long-standing playmaker in Baltimore with class and give the 33-year-old a say in the search for a new team.
Jackson will probably inherit Flacco
Flacco played a changeable and inconsistent season until his injury in Week 10. The hip injury before Bye Week came at the worst possible time, as the rookie Lamar Jackson, who was actually intended as a project for the future, took advantage of the hour.
Jackson was drafted at position 32 by the Ravens this year, should study as a backup of Flacco for a few years, and then lead the Ravens as quarterback of the future in a few years.
