Last weekend, two American rappers were injured in two different shootings. These are Benny The Butcher (35) and Boosie Badazz (38). Both were hit in the leg, but survived the shootings.
Last honor
Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr. aka Boosie Badazz from Louisiana was shot in Dallas Friday night. That happened when he visited the city to pay his last respects to his friend and fellow rapper Mo3 (28), who was shot dead. Police said Boosie Badazz was involved in a shooting at a shopping center. He was injured in the leg, but according to his management, he is now doing better.
Convictions
The controversial gangster rapper Boosie Badazz released his album this year In House from. He also made a mixtape in 2020 with the deceased Mo3. Have his rap videos on YouTube millions of views. Boosie was in prison several times for drug offenses and firearms possession. In 2011, he was sentenced to eight years in prison for smuggling cocaine, codeine and weed into jail. He was also charged with murder, but eventually acquitted. Boosie finally got released in 2014.
Armed robbery
35-year-old New York rapper Benny The Butcher (real name: Jeremie Damon Pennick) was shot a few hours after the incident with Boosie in a parking garage of a supermarket chain in Houston on Friday night. According to the police, it would be a robbery, in which Benny and his entourage had to hand over their chains to the robbers. They opened fire when the rapper did not act fast enough. He was hit in the leg several times. It is still unclear how serious the injuries are. After the shooting, the robbers fled.
Benny The Butcher (pictured) worked on his second album Burdon Of Proof this year together with Lil ‘Wayne, Rick Ross, Big Sean and Freddie Gibbs. He is part of the rap collective Black Soprano Family.
