The fully tattooed rap rising star told his friends a different story than the police.
As the US celebrity portal “TMZ” reports, the colorful, fully tattooed musician was robbed by unknown men in Brooklyn on Sunday. However, the 22-year-old musician gave different information to his friends about the course of events than to the police.
He told investigating authorities he was a passenger in a Chevy Tahoe when the car was hit from behind at an intersection in Brooklyn. Two masked men took the driver’s cell phone and then kidnapped him. They drove him to his house and then forced him to call his daughter’s mother to bring jewelry and cash out of the house. She did so, then Tekashi was able to escape and inform the police.
Completely different Story
The rapper told his friends a slightly different version. Here it is said that he was attacked by three men right in front of his house and struck down with a pistol. In the back seat of a car, he was threatened with death if he didn’t give them what they wanted.
Two of the men are said to have taken jewelry worth around $750,000 and around $20,000 in cash from the musician’s house. They then drove away with him, but he managed to get out of the moving car.
Which version now corresponds to the truth will have to be clarified in the course of the investigation.
