The evening turned into a nightmare. A 23-year-old woman was raped on Saturday by a man she had met a few hours earlier. The victim and one of her friends had decided to spend Friday evening in bars in Paris. This is where the duo meet three men with whom they sympathize and spend part of the night before taking them back to their home in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
And then everything goes wrong. The young woman, who fell asleep in the early morning, is suddenly awakened. One of the three men met the day before is then raping her. “But a victim who is very alcoholic or even more asleep can obviously not give his consent, recalls a source close to the case. The definition of rape therefore applies ”.
It is the friend of the victim who decides to warn the police when the man flees in the direction of the RER station. Provided with his description and a photo, a crew of the anti-crime squad immediately takes the same path and manages to get their hands on the 26-year-old individual before he manages to climb on his train to Paris. Arrested on the spot, he was taken into custody at the Saint-Germain-en-Laye police station.
