Archipelago Range won 1-0 over Arema FC in the continuation of League 1. It was Zidane Pramudya Afdandi who became a hero.
Arema FC vs Rans Nusantara took place at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Monday (14/8/2023) evening. The visiting team tore Singo Edan’s goal through Mitsuru Maruoka, but it was annulled because it smelled of offside.
Arema was able to threaten Rans through Muhammad Raffli. However, the ball shot was still wide.
Rans managed to lead 1-0 in the 27th minute through Zidane Pramudya Afdandi. The free kick ball was unable to be dammed by goalkeeper Julian Garcia Schwarzer.
There were no additional goals in the remaining time of the first half. Rans led Arema until halftime.
Starting the second half with an advantage, did not make Rans relax attacks. Antoni, who received the through ball, escaped from Arema’s defenders and almost hit the net. Luckily Schwarzer successfully brushed off the ball and only produce a corner kick.
The game tempo of both teams began to decrease in the last 15 minutes of normal time. However, Arema’s players still have difficulty penetrating Rans’ defense.
Before the normal time was over, Arema FC still locked up the RANS defense but was still deadlocked.
Referee Thoriq tricked the whistle the fight ended. Arema FC vs RANS Nusantara finished with a score of 0-1.
This result made Rans rise to second place in the Liga 1 standings with 15 points. Arema is still at the bottom of the standings with two points.
