Ray

–When you can court Ray, one of the two men from another story, you will know who he is and what he is going through. His mental state was far from stable for reasons beyond his control, but that didn’t stop his path from being disturbed. I could argue that he at least knows what he’s going to register as Ray’s advantage over V, but Ray is definitely a hostile character and it’s hard to walk away from that.
I find that there are other reasons why Ray is the worst husband on the list, but explaining them would be a huge spoiler. I just know that using the “power of love” to save Ray from his situation is just… not like that, Boss. Yes, most of the good endings of his try and treat him, but that still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And those bad endings may need to trigger warnings.

V, another character you can’t fall in love with until another story, will never love you. Well, if you walk a tightrope by choosing the right answer, he will, but for the most part, he’s still in love with his late girlfriend.
Shame on him, he’s handsome and an artist. V has two advantages. But he ends up trapped in the past, and unraveling it all is difficult. It doesn’t help that the bad ending (as he can see) is very disturbing. I’m sorry V, I can’t with all this.
zen
Zen is a bit of an idiot. He seems like he’s just obsessed with how he looks, and it’s really annoying that he spams the gym and shirtless photos. You know that’s not attractive, brother, right? He has reasons for doing so, but I can’t say he finds them very convincing.
Also, her story revolves around a woman who falsely accuses Zen of sexually harassing her. It’s disgusting that women often do these things to get something from a celebrity. It depends more on the developer than on the role, but it is far from the best.
Oh, and one of the bad endings is that you insult Zen. It’s not cool.

Zhu Min is cold, aloof, cat-loving, hot, and has a lot of cash. kind of not loving? Well, he doesn’t trust women (for obvious reasons), so it’s kind of hard to woo him. If Jumin develops feelings for you, he becomes a bit unstable, obsesses a lot, treats you like a pet, which is… weird. But I guess he just has cats to deal with now.
You can help him get through this by understanding how he feels, but also stand your ground and know that it’s not okay to treat others this way, which is a very healthy thing to do in an otome game. Have you played Amnesia: Memories, a game that wants you to get along with someone who keeps you in a dog cage? Yes, not at all. Telling Joo-min that he is no good and won’t lead to a bad end if you treat him gently.
Finally, you can spend time with a beautiful cat. So at least that gives him a little more Zen who is allergic to cats. Zen, you have too much against you.

Yoosung is probably the healthiest man in Mystic Messenger, but hey, every male character in the game has some sort of trauma, and he’s no exception. It was obvious from the start that Yoosung had trouble dealing with the death of his cousin and was quick to associate his feelings with you as his “substitute” for him.
If you decide to have a relationship with him, he will quickly become obsessive and attached, but thankfully he has never been like the other characters, claiming that you are not, in fact, his late reincarnated cousin fast enough for him to stop. Yoosung is definitely going through something, but unlike most of these characters on one level, he makes his path less stressful. Who really needs more pressure?
jae hee
“Sorry,” a lot of people would say, “Jaehee is not a man! How can you make her husband to her? “Because I can, okay? Let’s break some gender norms, okay?
Jaehee has one of the most relatable stories in the game: overworked and underestimated, she is Jumin’s partner, she is a workaholic and the same is expected of her. He will spend most of his time talking to her about wanting to do more in her life. If you do well, she will leave her assistant position and open a bakery. marvelous. Follow your dreams, sister.
Seven
Mystic Messenger doesn’t really position any particular character as a “protagonist,” but honestly, Seven could be. Some of the game’s biggest plot twists require defeating their route to unlock them, and overall Seven is one of the two most grounded characters.
And, I mean, despite this guy’s tragic past and present career, Seven is a pretty amazing guy. While it’s clear that his overly flippant personality in chat rooms isn’t his true personality, Seven is ultimately a very caring person and definitely not unstable.
Sometimes you just want someone you don’t need to fix, you know?
