Rangnick Has Asked Manchester United Players to Reduce Complaining on the Field

Manchester

Manchester United criticized for mostly complaining and lack of enthusiasm on the pitch. Scott McTominay revealed that Ralf Rangnick already asked the MU players to get rid of that attitude.

Prior to the 3-1 win over Burnley last night, MU was held to a draw by the bottom team Newcastle with a score of 1-1. After the match, the Manchester United players received criticism.

The attitude of the MU players on the pitch was highlighted by its former captain, Gary Neville. He considered that Cristiano Ronaldo et al mostly complained on the field and had no fighting spirit.

The criticism of the body language of the Red Devils players was immediately responded to by the interim manager of MU, Ralf Rangnick. Scott McTominay revealed that Rangnick had asked his players to reduce negative attitudes on the pitch.

“I feel the reason why the performance against Newcastle was disappointing was turnover. It’s that simple,” McTominay said as reported by the club’s official website.

“I felt at Newcastle without the ball, we weren’t as bad as people say.”

“Obviously (negative) body language is one thing and the manager came and asked to stop it and he didn’t want any more, so it’s final. All the players accept it firmly and that’s important,” McTominay said.
