Rangers continue to be successful on the road

With a two-goal deficit midway through the third period, the Rangers saw their offense unlock and New York inflicted a 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

Chris Kreider sounded the charge on the power play at 2:37 pm.

Ryan Lindgren (15:52) and Barclay Goodrow (17:57) continued the effort, leading New Yorkers to a fourth straight win.

Goodrow deflected a Samuel Blais shot. The latter obtained a third assist in two matches.

Alexandar Georgiev blocked 26 shots.

Matt Murray made 22 saves before giving way to Anton Forsberg, who was beaten by Lindgren on the first shot he faced.

Nick Paul and Josh Norris were the Senators’ scorers.

Ottawa will conclude a four-game home stint on Monday, hosting Gatineau’s Hendrix Lapierre and the Washington Capitals.
