Rammstein Responds to Allegations of Transgressive Behavior by Frontman Till Lindemann

German metal band Rammstein has responded to the allegations of transgressive behavior by frontman Till Lindemann. “We take this seriously, but we don’t want to be judged prematurely.”

‘The publications of the past few days have caused irritation and questions among the public and especially among our fans. The accusations have affected us all very much, and we take them extremely seriously.’ For example, the German metal band Rammstein responds with a statement on their website to the accusations of transgressive behavior against their frontman, singer Till Lindemann (60).

They started last week after an Irish fan said on Twitter that she suspected that drugs were put in her drink during an after-party with the band at a concert in Vilnius. Afterwards, German media such as the Southgerman newspaperNDR one daily News testimonials from a dozen women about questionable practices in Lindemann’s entourage. They told how a woman from his circle of acquaintances selects young fans for exclusive parties with the band. Some of them described how they were drugged on those occasions. Others testified that Lindemann had assaulted them.

‘Our fans must feel good and safe’

Rammstein first responded by categorically denying the allegations about the concert in Vilnius. The band now responds to further reports from the German media via its website: ‘It is important to us that our fans feel good and safe at our shows, both in front of and behind the stage. We condemn any form of transgressive behaviour.’
