Rally Barrionuevo at the Konex

Rally Barrionuevo will be presented Sunday March 3 in Konex Cultural City of Buenos Airestickets available through the venue’s website.

The Argentine singer and composer of folk music arrives at the patio of the emblematic Abasto venue, as part of the Parador Konex summer cycle.

With fifteen albums released to date – the most recent is 1972 (2021)-, Raúl Eduardo Barrionuevo Druetta is considered one of the new representatives of popular music with folk roots fueled by multiple sounds.

Konex Cultural City

With its special architecture, the building was built in the 1920s and used as a factory and oil warehouse until 1992. Years later it was acquired in order to create the Konex Cultural City and make it a reference for the cultural activity of our country. The Clorindo Testa y Asociados Studio was in charge of transforming the old oil mill into an original cultural space, keeping intact the architectural details of the time.

Today the complex occupies a large part of the surface of the old property with a refunctionalization of its facilities where all types of artistic expressions coexist and interrelate with the common objective of providing cultural and artistic enrichment to the community.
