Musician Ralfs Eilands, in collaboration with Liepaja Music Orchestra and its artistic director Jānis Ivuškāns, has created a new song “Soulfulman”, which is currently being offered to listeners along with a video of the song, the musicians’ representatives informed.
The lyrics of the song are the work of the musician Ralph Eiland, but the musical material has been created in collaboration with composer and producer Reini Briģis, as well as the leader of the Liepaja Music Orchestra Jānis Ivuškāns.
The song and video tell about the various opportunities we face every day, and the only way to bring these opportunities into your life is to simply open the door to them, the song explains.
The musicians of the Liepaja Music Orchestra have participated in the creation of the video and sound recording of the song: Jānis Ivuškāns (trumpet), Ritvars Garoza (keyboards), Mārtiņš Zālīte (bass), Kristaps Vītols Vītoliņš (guitar), Andris Žabris (drums), Rolf , Artūrs Hrustaļovs (trombone), Katrīne Sabīne Kalniņa (baritone saxophone), Edgars Ermansons (trumpet), Anna Marija Kukuka, Laura Liepiņa, Kate Kronberga, Monta Norkuse, Annija Andija Kolerta, as well as Raimonds Golubkovs.
The video was filmed under the direction of Fontaine Hotel video artist Indulis Pelnēns. Sound recording direction is entrusted to Dainis Melnik. The project was implemented with the financial support of Liepāja Culture Board.
