Railways: timetable changes for some trains on the Cairo-Aswan line

The Egyptian National Railways has decided to change the dates and the installation of some trains on the Cairo-Aswan line, as part of their desire to provide the best service to the public and in light of the continuous modernization of all sectors of the authority , in particular the mobile unit sector.

First: modification of the following train timetables:

1- As of Sunday 11/20/2022, the departure time of the Aswan / Aswan / High Dam (1030) train will be changed, as it departs at 17:15 instead of 17:00 as per the attached timetable.

2- Starting from Sunday, corresponding to 11/20/2022, the departure time of the train (1029) to the High Dam / Aswan will be changed, as it leaves at 16:30 instead of 16:05, as per the attachment hours.

3- Starting from Tuesday, corresponding to 22/11/2022, the schedule of the third Cairo / Aswan air-conditioned train (3006) will be changed to depart from Cairo at 00:50 instead of 5:15 and arrive in Aswan at 1.30pm on the same day instead of 6.10pm.

4- Starting from Wednesday, corresponding to 11/23/2022, the train schedule (3007), a third air-conditioned Aswan / Cairo train, will be changed to depart from Aswan at 10:00 instead of 9:00, and arrive in Cairo at 10.25pm ​​the same day instead of 9.55pm.

5- As a consequence of the above, the timetables of some trains will be modified [ 81 – 90 – 1010- 755– 732 – 723 – 744 – 752 – 718 – 735 ] like the attached tables.

Second: modification of the installation of the following trains:

1- Starting from Tuesday 11/22/2022, the installation of (988) Cairo / Aswan air-conditioned train with third air-conditioned carriages will be modified to be installed. [ 8 عربات ثالثة مكيفة + عربة بوفيه ثالثة تهوية ديناميكية ] Same as current schedule.

2- Starting from Wednesday, corresponding to 11/23/2022, the Aswan / Cairo air-conditioned train (1903) layout will be modified with third air-conditioned carriages to be with the same layout as the train (988) and the same current program.

3- Effective Thursday 11/24/2022, the installation of (1) Cairo / Alexandria Express train will be modified to be installed. [ 10 عربات ثالثة تهوية ديناميكية + عربة بوفيه ] Same as current schedule.

4- As of Thursday 11/24/2022, the installation of the train (164) Alexandria / Aswan Express will be changed to be the same as the train (1) with the same current timetable.

5- As of Friday 11/25/2022, the installation of the (163) Express Aswan / Alexandria train will be changed to be the same as the train (164) with the same current timetable.

6- Starting from Saturday 11/26/2022, the installation of the Alexandria / Cairo Express train (18) will be changed to be the same as the train (163) with the same current timetable.
