Iraqi artist Rahma Riyad lost her first child from her husband, Iraqi actor Alexander Aloum, without announcing earlier the news of her pregnancy.
Riyad shared a tweet on Twitter after she aroused her audience’s concern about her, without revealing the loss of her child, and wrote: “My beloved, thank you for your question and your interest.
And the Lebanese journalist, Elie Merheb, had posted a tweet on his Twitter account, in which he said: “Our prayers and prayers are for the star, Rahma Riad, and her husband, the star, Alexandre Aloum, after the loss of Rahma, her child.”
He added, “Yes, Rahma was pregnant, but the child died, and now Rahma has been discharged from the hospital in Turkey.”
The pioneers of social networking interacted with Rahma Riyad, wishing her safety and good health.
Rahma Riyad had announced her engagement to the Iraqi actor Alexander Alom in August 2021, and she published a picture of her with her fiancé on her Instagram page, and wrote, “Praise be to God, with whose grace good deeds are done. To have a share for me and for me to be a share for him, O God, bind our hearts with love and affection.”
Riyad confirmed that what happened was just a marriage contract and not a wedding ceremony, addressing the conversation to her friends, saying: “To my friends who considered that this is a wedding, this is not a wedding, this is a marriage contract. Certainly at the wedding in the coming months all friends, family and close ones will be present, and frankly my sister is good. Which surprised me and settled this simple family ceremony.
Rahma revealed earlier the details of her first meeting with Alexander Alom, noting that at first they had a strong friendship after she met him through her sister, Nima Riyad.
She explained that their conversation continued on the phone and via video for 9 months before they made the decision to link up.
On the artistic level, since the beginning of this year, Rahma Riad has revived many concerts, the most prominent of which was a concert in the Global Village in Dubai, and she presented a bouquet of her most beautiful songs.
Rahma also participated in the opening ceremony of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup in Iraq, in the presence of a large audience. And she wrote through her account on Instagram: “Iraq will remain lofty and lofty forever..I am proud that I am the daughter of this great country, and I am very happy for my family and people to participate in such an honorable sporting event befitting our beloved Iraq and its bright image, and from it to the top.”
