“Rahbaniyyat” .. commemorated the memory of Elias Rahbani in “Riyadh”

The ‘Rahbaniyyat’ concert was a diverse example of art evenings and a documentation of what the late Elias Rahbani presented, who presented to the world hundreds of different musical works that contributed to the richness and sophistication of the Arab arts during the 20th century. The sounds of Rahbani’s music intensified as she started with the song “Jina El Dar”, then “Ya Qamar El Dar” and a variety of songs created by her father, so that the stage shook with Lebanese Dabke on the song “They Killed Me His Black Eyes”. The artists also performed a ‘medley’ which combined Rahbani’s melodies and music. And the night of “Rahbaniyat” attracted several music presented by the late Elias Rahbani, who also contributed to the development and dissemination of Lebanese art to the Arab level, when he more than once led committees to develop talents and introduce them to the Arab world , and further consolidate the culture of art among Arab society audiences through satellite channels.
