Radio Veronica talks to Rick van Velthuysen about his future at the station. A spokesperson told RadioFreak.nl. This morning Frank van der Lende was heard during the morning show.
When asked where the DJ was, Rick said he wasn’t there for a while. A spokesperson said in a response: “Frank van der Lende is temporarily taking over the program from Rick. Radio Veronica will discuss the future.” Drivetime hours are not an unknown place for Frank. Between 2015 and 2017 and later from 2020 to June 2022 he presented the afternoon show on 3FM.
Rick has been on radio in the mornings of Radio Veronica since June. He succeeded Tim Klijn, Rick Romijn Niels van Baarlen who switched to Radio 538.
Temporary
According to Frank van der Lende, his job in the morning is temporary. “Invalfrankie strikes again and that’s how you hear me temporarily in the morning of Radio Veronica,” he says on social media.
