In their joint statement, the presidents of Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia today condemned the massive Russian bombing of cities in Ukraine.
The B9 heads of state called for an immediate cessation of attacks on civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine, treated as war crimes under international law.
The presidents described the threat of Russia’s use of nuclear weapons as unacceptable and reaffirmed their commitment to ensure their collective security.
