The visit started with a round table discussion about fashion and the challenges of the sector during and after the corona crisis. Mathilde was then given a tour of one of the museum’s permanent exhibitions. Finally, in the renovated library, the Queen became acquainted with the museum’s study collection and attended a practical lesson on fashion, clothing and textiles.
Queen Mathilde wore a new kaftan dress by fashion designer Dries van Noten.
