Queen Elizabeth spent night in hospital | Abroad

What happened to Elizabeth has not been disclosed. Her hospitalization was not related to the coronavirus.

The Queen was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London, where Britain’s Prince Philip was also treated for four weeks earlier this year. Doctors conducted a number of tests on Elizabeth after experts had previously advised her to “take a few days rest.” That is why a planned visit to Northern Ireland this week was also canceled.

Queen Elizabeth has had a busy schedule in recent weeks, hosting a reception on Tuesday evening for international investors, including billionaire Bill Gates and leading British ministers. There she was seen talking to several guests together with her eldest son Prince Charles (72) and grandson Prince William (39).

In 2022, the Queen will celebrate the platinum government anniversary, when she will be on the throne for seventy years.
