Queen Elizabeth (95) was present when climate scientists gathered in Edinburgh to discuss climate change. During her visit to the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute, the Queen spoke to several experts in the field.
They presented their research on ways to reverse the effects of climate change, and the monarch himself was clear in his speech.
ClimateXChange is Scotland’s competence center on climate change, and is located at the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute (ECCI). Anne Marte Bergeseng, a representative from the organization, had a chat with the queen during the visit.
Afterwards, she said that the discussion covered “everything, really”. Among other things, they are said to have talked about a greener future and what it will mean for everyday life.
